Participants who book their accommodation through the official World Transplant Games platform will benefit from a dedicated shuttle service. Every day, free shuttles will transport athletes and delegations from their hotels to the various sports venues in the morning, and back again in the evening. Ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience throughout the Games.

Leuven is one of Belgium’s most bike-friendly cities, with extensive cycling infrastructure and dedicated bike lanes. Cycling is a popular and efficient way to move around the city, with many rental options available, including e-bikes.

The public transport network, operated by De Lijn, connects all areas of Leuven and surrounding districts. Buses run frequently throughout the day and evening, with the main hub located at Leuven railway station, providing easy connections across the city.

Leuven’s central station offers quick connections to nearby cities such as Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent, as well as direct access to Brussels Airport.
